Suprising Teams

This years NFL season seems like it might be a little interesting. Many teams that have been expected to win, have lost and teams that many believed to still be in the dumps are 2-0. From the looks of these first two weeks, this season is headed in a direction that most might have trouble predicting. Those usual winning teams look to be in bad positions right now. Even Sports Illustrated has made some bad predictions. SI magazine had predicted New Orleans and San Diego to play each other in this years Super Bowl. Right now New Olreans is 0-2 and the San Diego is 1-1. Im not trying to say they still can't do it but it looks like it might be two different teams in it for the big one.

Tell me what you think....

SI made a bad prediction, no way!!

It pretty much comes down to this;
In the AFC its the Colts, Patriots, and Steelers and then everyone else.

In the NFC it's a whole other story. I know the experts say that the NFC is terrible and not good to watch, but who couldn't love this? Green Bay and Dallas are stand outs to most surprise (especially the Packers, 4 is playing well enough and that defense is outstanding) and the teams that are supposed to be "AFC" caliber are not.

This conference is completely wide open! The NFC West is still not good, but it looks like Seattle's window has closed, Arizona and San Francisco are upstart and who knows what is going on with St Louis?

In the North, Detroit and Minnesota are surprising while everyone is thinking, "What happend to the Bears?" And, Green Bay looms large.

In the South, Atlanta misses Vick and New Orleans must be hung over, but Carolina is slinging it (thank you very much, I have Steve Smith on my fantasy team) and Tampa has their D back.

In the East, Philadelphia has major defensive problems but soon McNabb will be back at 100% and keeping them in games. New York is.. well I don't know what Coughlin is doing.. Washington is playing well under Joe Gibbs and Dallas is powerhousing everyone.

I guess there is only one thing to say now, TGIF: Thank God Its Football (season).
